Apple Tarts with Maple Syrup

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 50ml Taylor & Colledge Maple Syrup
- 150g whipped cream cheese
- 250ml whipping cream
- 45ml butter
- 4 apples
- 6 cooked tart shells
Method
- Step 1
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Step 2
- Place the cornflour into a mixing bowl, and slowly whisk in the maple syrup until smooth.
- Step 3
- Add cream cheese gradually, whisking until incorporated. Finally, whisk in the cream.
- Step 4
- Peel and slice the apples into wedges. Melt the butter in a large, non-stick frying pan, and add the apples, cooking until they are just tender.
- Step 5
- Fill cooked tart shells with maple preparation and arrange apples in fan pattern.
- Step 6
- Top with maple glaze and bake until golden brown.
