Tahitian – Dark, thick and aromatic
Tahitian vanilla beans, Vanilla tahitensis, are grown in Tahiti and the South Pacific. These vanilla beans are dark, thick, and very aromatic, with a delicate cherry-like flavour. The delicate flavour of Tahitian Vanilla can be damaged at high heats, therefore this type of vanilla is best is low-heat applications.
